Feltmaking
We are currently adding to our list of workshops and classes. If there is something in particular you would like to learn, get in touch. If there are enough like minded people we can certainly facilitate a class. Generally these workshops explore current trends within the craft world and allow you to dip your ‘toe in the water’ before spending your hard earned cash on materials.

You will be taken step by step through the needlefelting process to create your background and then add some beads before creating a dimensional sunflower to add to the foreground- Date and time is TBDDundonaldLearn the basics of needlefelting to create a landscape. Very therapeutic workshop using barbed needles and merino wool.
Date and time is TBDDundonaldCreate a needlefelted picture within an 8" hoop of a seascape using barbed needles (no sewing required). Pattern and merino wools provided or create your own pattern if you wish
Time is TBDDundonaldLearn the basics whilst working with pre - made pieces of felt. Option to make the front for a book cover or bag or make some brooches
Time is TBDDundonaldNeedlefelting is the art of manipulating wool fibres into a shape, embellishment or a 3D piece. Barbed needles and friction are used to achieve a felted finish. Make a 3D animal or use needlefelting to add detail to a wet felted piece.
Time is TBDDundonaldSuitable for beginners. Includes the basics of wet felt making, the processes and materials used. Plenty of hands –on practice.
